Acupuncture is a subtle medicine that uses energetic pathways in the body to re-establish flow. Acupuncture channels relate to muscle groups, organ systems, blood, and lymph. Using these channels we can rebalance, reduce, or nourish specific areas. Acupuncture can be used in combination with medicinal herbs, or manual therapies such as cupping or gua sha. Some conditions that acupuncture can support are pain, headaches, gut issues, and hormonal health. It is also great for fertility and can help to supplement IVF therapy. Acupuncture treatments may include a variety of modalities including manual therapies like gua sha or tui na, nutrition support, or herbal medicine prescriptions.
Marion Dunham is a licensed acupuncturist and earned her degree from Emperor's College in Santa Monica, CA.
